“I’m a biomedical engineering and neuroscience undergraduate, currently working with data science and deep learning in computer vision. I have experience in image preprocessing in the banking sector.  Now my goals are aligned with the medical community, working at Hospital Albert Einstein, where we use deep learning for skin cancer classification with the aim of early detection of tumors and decreasing overload to the Brazilian primary care system health system.  My latest project is my undergraduate thesis (final term paper) concerning vessel segmentation in corneal images, in which I trained a U-Net neural network to evaluate the progression/regression of vascularization in corneal tissue.

Education: Undergraduate student at Federal University of ABC (UFABC) – Bachelor’s degree in Science and Technology, Biomedical Engineering and Neuroscience.

Hobbies: swimming, reading, watching series and traveling.”
